The term "Android" refers to a humanoid robot. They are represented in DBNU by several races:
Android-fm : These are fully mechanical, true Androids.
Android-h : These are more technically "cyborgs," having previously been human.
Android-e : These have mechanical bodies but may incorporate living tissue, such as a brain.
Hellfighter : This is the result of a fusion between two Type H Androids.
Super Android : This is the result of a fusion between a Type H, Type H, and Type FM Android.
There is also the organic Bio-Android race that is quite different despite sharing the name.
