Hydians are a race of beautiful, peace-loving poets. One day planet Hydia was invaded by an evil tyrant by the name of Frieza. The people fought to repel the invasion using their hidden fighting talent, which granted them brutal fighting power at the exchange of their beauty. Sadly, in the end they fell. It was later discovered that the Hydians were sold out by their own Prince, Zarbon, in exchange for a position as Frieza's right hand man. After defecting to Frieza, Zarbon quickly rallied his new armies and stormed the Hydian capitol, killing their King and taking the palace for himself.
